Bellow, I’m going to be talking about my experience in content creation and using social media in order to promote myself. Firstly, on my site, I would want to improve my content, by adding some variety in activities and stretching it out to different destinations not just the city of Wimberley, Texas.

 I could have better promoted my content by, promoting my posts on not just on twitter but expanding it to different social media sites as well. In doing so, it could have reached a broader audience and had more acknowledgement.

My best experience of the semester long-project wise was; the iMovie project. It was extremely fun and I got the chance to get creative while developing the interview and developing it into an iMovie and publishing it on to YouTube.

This experience can benefit me in the future because it gave me the opportunity to learn good communication skills while interview someone, and I also got the chance to learn how to create an iMovie film which can potentially help with future promotions on YouTube’s platform. The skills that I learned could implemented professionally in the future and in a job or an entrepreneurial endeavor because, I learned the kind of questions that are going to be asked during a job interview. Due to my topic and how I had to research the proper questions asked during a job interview. I also learned film editing skills from iMovie. Due to, working with my father and being taught the proper skills needed. Overall, this was a fascinating way to prepare myself for the future.

While analyzing the effectiveness of my posts I noticed that the week of March 30th through April 5th was my most popular. I received a total of eight views and two visitors. All of my posts of the semester got equal amount of views. What surprised me out of all the Site Stats data was how equal all of my datasets recognition was besides for that one week.

The EmilyAnn Theater and Gardens was constructed in 1998 to keep alive the memory of EmilyAnn Rollings. This was done by setting up an everlasting home for “Shakespeare Under the Stars,” a theater performance in which Emilly was successfully an actress and wardrobe designer for the show. EmilyAnn’s mission is to reinstate in the formality of the human spirit through the winsomeness of the outdoors, performing arts, and companionship of their community.
The EmilyAnn Theater and Gardens is held in Wimberley, Texas; it’s a magical place, especially for any holiday festivities. They always have the most festive and jolly decorations. There is plenty of fun and entertaining activities in this Wimberley hot spot! For instance, on their main stage theater, they have a projector showing films and shows which are played while visitors can lay comfortably under the stars. You can also wonder through the beautiful gardens. Also, you can even play on a huge life-sized chess/checkerboard game in the musical garden where battleships begin. People can visit the hilltop Veterans Memorial Plaza or hold picnics with family and friends in the gardens. There are plenty of different events that can be held. For example, they offer classes, camps, productions, and many more events all year long. The gardens are open routinely from sunrise to nightfall. Admittance to the garden is completely free, but the tickets for the theater performances are accessible through purchase.
My experience in EmilyAnn Theater and Garden was extremely fun! My family and I decided to go last winter during the holidays. We started our experience by exploring the beautiful gardens and later ending our night laying under the stars watching the movie “The Gringe” which was projected onto the big theater screen. Overall, our experience was extremely special thanks to the wonderful staff and fun activities.

Jacob’s Well is a popular destination for many Wimberley visitors. It is an artesian well that is 120 feet deep encircled by Sandstone Cliffs. This local public park is right outside of Wimberley, Texas.
It is an incredibly beautiful place in Texas to visit! The water can be a little chilly, at sixty-eight degrees, but refreshing during those hot summer days. A little bit of walking is involved to reach the well, approximately a 15-minute walk, but it is certainly worth it!
To keep this fun activity alive, the monitoring of Jacob’s Well is important due to, the water shortage and development in the area. The flow of water hardly ever reaches the rates it once did. Jacob’s Well was under great pressure, for the very first time in history, the natural stream stopped running in early 2000, later stopping again in 2008, and again in 2011. As a result of these events, actions have been made to preserve local water conservation and water quality are developed to help prevent unwavering droughts. Jacob’s Well helps bring in awareness and great measures to help the water and the wildlife living in the streams.
Only by appointment you can go in and jump from the cliffs and into the famous well. In order to conserve this natural treasure, they are fairly strict on keeping the number of visitors low and additionally, the time spent at the well is also regulated. Eventually, a park ranger will come in and inform you once the two hours are up, so the next set of people to get in and enjoy the fresh streams of the swimming hole.
This is an exciting activity that is not just environmentally friendly, but also friendly towards its visitors. The staff welcomed my family and me with helping hands and guided us towards this awesome adventure, and even told us a bit of its history.

An awesome activity to do while visiting Wimberley, TX, is going to Bootiful Wimberley. Bootiful Wimberley, is a beautiful art gallery of colorful and unique boot sculptures scattered along separate trails. Each boot was individually painted and designed by fifty different artists specially made for the gallery. Something special that they got to do was have Wimberley school children join along in the fun of painting recycled cowboy boots for their 4th of July parade boat. The boots they created later became added to sponsored locations for others to see.
Bootiful Wimberley, begun in 2014 in efforts to bring in attention to the arts in Wimberley and intensify cultural tourism. Eventually, artists and sponsors tagged along and helped bring thirty-two boots to life, which were painted by incredible local artists. The famous boots were first presented to the public on September 13, 2014, in a “Barring our Boots” party, and then later started in sponsored locations. A year later, eighteen more boots were added, making it fifty boots in total. Talk about variety!
This is a fun and one of a kind activity to experience with either friends or family. When I went to Bootiful Wimberley, my family and I, met in Wimberley for the day, and we decided to have a scavenger hunt to see who could find the most boots out of everyone. It was amazing discovering all the different designs on the different boot sculptures.
I am in awe of the artist’s incredible talent and extraordinary designs.
When we started our tour of Bootiful Wimberley we were greeted by their very friendly and welcoming staff who helped us understand the history and the meaning of these unique sculptures.
This is a one of a kind experience that I truly recommend! So get out there and find some boots for yourself!

A fun and beautiful place to check out in Wimberley, Texas would be Driftwood Estate Winery. This is a tasty winery held in Wimberley Texas where you can try their winning wine plus enjoy the amazing view where their winery and Vineyard sits on. Driftwood Estate Winery is located between Dripping Springs and Wimberley. In 1998 the Vineyard was the first to be built in Hayes County. Being one the first it definitely won me over!
What I found interesting about my experience at Driftwood Estate Winery was their unique combination of not just sipping wine, but also being able to sit back and relax to their incredible view. Exploring the land during the day where the grapes are grown was quite the walk due to their 18 acres long Vineyard filled with oak trees but certainly makes up for its breathtaking view! Furthermore, Driftwood has also won some awards for their delicious wine. It was an incredible experience getting to try some of their famous Cabernet Sauvignon!
There is a wine for everyone and if you don’t know what your favorite wine is, then this is the perfect way to discover that! Other great reasons to visit a winery are, to spend time with friends, and learn about the culture of each different winery.
When visiting a winery it is important to take the time to ask many questions about the wine and its process. For me, I found it extremely fascinating to learn all about the background and history of the vineyard. The staff there really makes the experience one of a kind. It was all very informative and helped me learn more about the gorgeous Driftwood Estate Winery. Overall, I had a blast being a part of this experience and I was able to learn all about wine history while getting to enjoy the wine best suited for me. I recommend taking the time to visit this hidden gem!

Shivya Nath is a gifted photographer who is passionate about traveling the world and learning about different cultures. She is a talented travel blogger who is from Dehradun, in the Himalayas in India. As young as twenty-three, she decided to take a huge risk of leaving behind her corporate job at the Singapore Tourism Board. In exchange to follow her dreams and travel the world. A few years later she gave up her home, sold most of her personal belongings and began to live a nomadic lifestyle. 

Only five years after Shivya Nath became a travel blogger and digital nomad, she hit another important breakthrough. On September 14th, 2018 her book, The Shooting Star, was published by Penguin India. Blogger, Ben Huberman, spoke with Shivya about the journey of the creation of her travel blog becoming a book.  

What I liked the most about Ben’s blog about Shivya, is that he was able to ask insightful questions about the journey of turning a blog into a book; and getting the answers to the reader in order for them to find their own inspiration. The way Shivya was able to transform her blogs into a book is many bloggers dream. Therefore, Ben asks Shivya to give tips to readers about what one should do to help someone reach some of her success. Shivya suggests to “use the blog to find your voice. Experiment with themes that interest you, and actively seek feedback from your readers.” Overall, what I liked about Ben’s coverage on Shivya was the way that he made it so interesting to read about Shivya and her story. His work with interviewing made the reader intrigued and excited to keep reading and learning about his new findings.

In conclusion, what I believe is unique about Ben Huberman’s blog towards Shivya Nath is his unique approach towards the author and how he was able to introduce her to readers.  

In my blog, I’ve focused on blogging about fun activities to do while visiting Wimberley, Texas. The unique city includes numerous fun and interesting things to do. In my first blog, I wrote about Wimberly Glassworks, which is one of Wimberley’s main tourist attractions. Another fun attraction held in Wimberley, TX is Wimberley Zipline Adventures. I recently experienced the joy of the zipline adventure while visiting Wimberley. This thrilling activity is something I would recommend others to experience with their friends or family.
This zipline adventure focuses on its incredible set up of 10 separate ziplines. Ranging from lengths from 150 feet to 900 feet for a mile of excitement. These ziplines rise as high as a jaw-dropping 100 feet up in the air. The zipline can have you soaring as fast as 30 miles per hour. What a rush of excitement! As for someone with a fear of heights, I struggled to get the confidence to commit to the activity, however, once I did, it was all worth it! The experience became one that I will always remember.
In Wimberley Zipline Adventures, there is no prior experience required. As for me, this was only my first time ziplining! I was provided with all the guidance and assistance I needed before ziplining there. I undertook a quick “flight school” lesson where skilled staff prepared me for the activity and let me practice with the equipment. Additionally, they guided me in learning their important techniques before starting the tour. After all of the quick and easy preparations required, I finally was ready to swing down the zipline and have a fun, memorable, experience doing so!
Lastly, Wimberley Zipline Adventures is not just an amusing place to go zip lining, it’s also a family-owned business, with a super friendly staff who are there to make the experience even better. My experience overall was super enjoyable and I can’t wait to go again!

When I arrived, for the first time to Wimberley, TX, one of the first unique attraction spots I discovered and decided to check out was Wimberley Glassworks! Wimberley Glassworks is a popular glass artwork gallery and studio. It has hundreds of beautiful glasswork sculpture designs out for display, that is also available to purchase. This attraction made it on my list because not only is it enjoyable looking at beautiful art, but it also gives you the entertaining opportunity to witness the process behind part of the sculpture’s creation. While visiting, that’s when I discovered that some of the artists of the famous glasswork, also display a live showing for the customers to enjoy. During the showing, the artists demonstrate to the audience behind the process of how the sculptures are truly made—allowing the unique experience of making the designs right in front of you. This all happened right in front of my eyes! Not only did it sell unique glasswork, but it also allowed the visitor to experience an interesting moment of getting a look into the behind the scenes of the glassblowing! I found that pretty entreating, and felt like other Wimberley visitors would enjoy this experience. While being there, I also got to learn some of Wimberley Glassworks’ history! Owner Tim Jong was what started it all, from what began as a small shop, with a couple of lawn chairs for visitors to enjoy glassblowing, has now developed into an airconditioned studio and gallery room with seating up to 90 people. It was enjoyable visiting a business that grew from the grown-up! I feel like others would appreciate learning the history behind a business that once wasn’t so well known. While also enjoying the unique experience of seeing the craft of blown glass, that I got to experience while visiting Wimberley, Texas. Therefore, I recommended others to visit this unique glasswork gallery, while in Wimberley and looking for something different to do.
